About me

Sandy's early curiosity about human nature led to a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and to teaching chemistry, physics and physical science before studying Chinese medicine at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now Tai Sophia Institute). She has been in private practice since 1995 and has continued her studies of the pulse and the evolution of consciousness and culture through Chinese medicine with Lonny Jarrett. Sandy has a family member with macular degeneration so she recently traveled to Denmark to study with John Boel Jr. and Sr. to learn a type of acupuncture for the treatment of eye diseases. She has a special interest in the use of Chinese medicine to improve vision, for women's health issues and most especially for becoming more conscious.
