Lonny Jarrett interviews Z’ev Rosenberg, department head of Herbal Studies at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. We discuss the therapeutic relationship, Judaism, spirituality, medicine, the classics, and the emergence of Chinese medicine as a living and evolving practice.
Z’ev commented this was the best interview he had ever done. I agree that there was a chemistry between us. I’m really just learning to interview people and feel this marks a a leap in my understanding. It’s really time to take down the walls between all the various traditions and for all of us to come together in dialogs like this. I’d really like to see such discussions happen in real time at the conferences in front of audiences. It’s only together that we can create this new medicine.
I’m impressed by Z’ev’s humility and thoughtfullness and am moved in relistening to the dialog.
